This the step by step guide on webOS Modem Firmware Update. It is helpful for those with webOS Doctor stuck at 58% to 62%.


Please refer to the following video for the step by step guide to flash your modem firmware. You normally will do this only if you webOS Doctor get stuck at between 58% to 62%.



Please run the following commands
  • PmModemUpdater -f </tmp/*modem file name*.tar
If it doesn't work then try the following
  1. PmModemUpdater -m -e -o </tmp/*modem file name*.tar
  2. PmModemUpdater -f </tmp/*modem file name*.tar
